A Note from Amy

The bummer news…I’m just PLANNING for re-opening right now. Due to the current mandates I’m still closed to all in-studio appointments.  I’m watching things closely to determine when it will be right for me to open.  Even though I’m anxious to get back to work and see all of you, OUR health is my top concern. A Note from Amy on Re-Opening After COVID

I’m taking things week by week.  When the mandates are lifted, I will determine if I feel I can safely re-open.  Once I make the decision to re-open my schedule you’ll be the FIRST to know!

In the Meantime, Here’s How I’m Bringing the Virtual Facial to McKinney

I’ve got some exciting news to share that I hope will spruce up your new normal – you know the sweatpants and dirty hair normal?!?!  I’ve got a NEW Virtual Facial for all my clients in McKinney!  When this all started, I was offering a Virtual Facial that used the products you had in your home.  Over the last few weeks, I’ve revamped my process to bring a true Avila Skin Studio facial…to YOUR HOME!

Here’s how my new Virtual Facial works.  We’ll talk before your scheduled appointment and I’ll learn more about what’s going on with your skin.  Using what you’ve told me, I’ll customize a kit of professional skin care products (the same ones I use in the studio) to make sure you get similar results as you would from an in-studio session…you know “the glow.”

If you’re local, I’ll deliver your kit to you for free.  Then we’ll meet online and I’ll walk you through the steps to do the facial on yourself. I did this facial on myself on the other night and my skin was very thankful for the love.

The cost is $65.  You can schedule online or directly through me!  If you don’t see a spot online, please call me and I will get you scheduled.

Don’t Resort to Drugstore Skin Care

Even if you don’t want to do a full facial, I’m still open for retail sales.  I know it might be easier and less expensive to grab a bottle of something while you’re at the big box store grabbing toilet paper, but sticking with your existing skin care routine will be better for you in the long run.  It’s the best way to continue the results we’ve already achieved and not damage your skin before we can see each other again.

Gift certificates are also available online and they make great Mother’s Day Gifts! You can shop here.

When That Glorious Day Comes And I Can Re-Open After COVID

Now, let’s talk about re-opening after COVID and what you can expect. When we can finally see each other again, appointments at Avila Skin Studio are going to look a little different for a while.

Cancellation Policy

If you aren’t feeling well, please cancel your appointment.  When I re-open, I’ll be adjusting my cancellation policy and eliminating the 24-hour notice requirement for a bit.  While I would still very much appreciate 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel, I don’t want anyone to feel as though they have to come into the studio not feeling well to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.  I’m doing this for my own health as well as the health of all my clients, so again, if you aren’t feeling well, please cancel, no questions asked.

I am attending several classes during this time off to learn more about sanitation and sterilization. I want to make sure the environment I control is as safe as possible for you.  When I’m done with the course, I will develop a formal plan of attack and share it with you!

Masks and More

One thing is for sure, when I re-open, I’ll be wearing a mask and a face shield during all appointments.  When you arrive, I ask that you wash and/or sanitize your hands upon entering the studio. Please continue to wear your mask until you’re in the treatment room.  I’ll have more on coming and going procedures soon too!

So, if your skin needs some TLC, let’s get you booked for my new Virtual Facial! Don’t forget to stock up on your everyday skin care products AND get your gift cards for Mother’s Day.  Lastly, if you’ve already done my Virtual Facial, please share your results on social media and tag me!
