Y’all I’m so excited…businesses are starting to re-open and I think there is finally a light at the end of COVID tunnel!

I know you’re all anxious to get re-booked and I’m just as anxious to see you but I can’t open my schedule just yet.

It’s Not Clear Whether Estheticians Can Open

While some other beauty businesses have been cleared to re-open the announcement did not specify whether Esthetics was approved to begin operations.

In addition, your health is still my main priority.  I don’t want to risk opening too soon and chance it not being safe. So, with there being some gray area on whether or not I’m actually allowed to open along with my concern for everyone’s health, I plan to re-open May 26th unless something changes.

PPE is On The Way

When I originally started to plan for reopening I was told the absolute earliest would be May 18th. I have ordered my PPE equipment, extra sanitation products,  and everything that I need to serve you safely. It is all set to arrive by the time I open so that I will be fully prepared.

New Procedures for Visiting

With all this in mind, please read below about the new guidelines for every service that I have put in place.

Entry to my studio – When you arrive, please come up to the waiting room and if it’s empty please have a seat, relax, and wait for me to come get you for your appointment.  If someone is waiting on one of the other therapists, please wait outside or in your car and text me that you’ve arrived.   I will text you when it’s time for you to come in.

Please wear a mask – You will need to supply and wear a mask while in the salon at all times.  If your service doesn’t allow for a mask, please wear it until you’re told to remove it for your service.

Sanitize upon entry – I will have hand sanitizer available for before your service.  Every client will sanitize hands upon entering my studio.

One client at a time – I am only allowed one person/client in the Studio at all times. Extra people may not attend your appointment with you, including children and family members.  I’m sorry  for any inconvenience.

My cancellation policy is waived – If you are feeling sick, have a fever, have been exposed to COVID-19 please contact me to reschedule even if it’s last minute. My cancellation policy will be waived for you!

Schedule – Please be mindful that I will be on a very strict schedule to meet the needs of all clients and meet safety and sanitation guidelines. If you are late or no show,  you will be rescheduled and charged… no exceptions.

Safety and Sanitation

I will:

  • Be wearing a mask while in the salon at all times.
  • Booking out extra time between clients to clean and sanitize.
  • Continue to follow the Texas Department of Licensing safety rules and guidelines.
  • -I have taken blood borne pathogen classes and updated all of my sanitation classes during this time.   I give you my word that I will uphold these procedures for the health and safety of you and me!

Appointments

My schedule is open online for 6 months.   Please feel free to go online and get yourself booked ahead.   

If you have an appointment already that you know you will not be attending, please let me know ASAP so that I can open that time for someone else that will be able to take it.
